Dannie Chalk is an Assistant Professor in the Arts, Languages, and Literature Department at AUBG. Dr. Chalk got her PhD in English from the Pennsylvania State University in 2009. One of her main research interests is the British literature of 17th and 18th centuries.

Most specifically, on the “image wars” between the King and his opposition as they wrestled for the hearts and minds of the people — a struggle Charles I seemed to have lost when he lost his head, but that monarchy ultimately won. Historically, the “image wars” were one of the first PR battles to take place in Europe, and certainly in England, after 100 or more years of the printing press. John Rodrigue is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Arts, Languages, and Literature Department at AUBG.
