(March 12, 2014) Rado Nikolov is a CTO of Transmetrics Ltd, a startup company, trying to bring big data and predictive analytics into the world of cargo transport. The problem that the company is trying to solve is that more than half of the capacity is unused. The speaker talks about Transmetrics’ solution for Agility and the use of the Hidden Markov Model to predict future volume distribution. This lecture was organized for Professor Dimitar Christozov’s Data Mining class.
